Wow, "Ya gotta believe." On November 2nd, the Tug McGraw Foundation held an event called "An Evening with Tim McGraw and Friends - Honoring those who make a difference", the evening was filled with great music and was hosted by Bob Costas. Sweet Spot Golf donated a putter and a driver for a silent auction to help raise funds for brain cancer research. This is a great group of people. It has been a busy month for Sweet Spot Golf. First off we recently donated a Think Pink Putter to the EWGA (Executive Women’s Golf Association) who awarded our putter to one of their members who recently returned to the association after a long absence. We only wanted to say to her “Welcome Back.” The EWGA is there “…to provide opportunities for women to learn, play and enjoy the game of golf for business and for life.” More information about this group can be found at www.ewga.com.
In other news, our Think Pink Putters were highlighted in OC Metro. This business news publication is available in fine establishments all over Orange County California. OC Metro highlights Fast Trackers and commerce movers in Orange County. And by the looks of it, this part of Southern California is definitely moving and shaking. Recently we were featured in the Golf Business Wire. Why? October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Sweet Spot Golf and the Think Pink Putters were mentioned along with Aldila golf shafts, C-Thru Grips, Foot Joy, Wilson and Callaway. Not bad company. Check out this link to read the article. Finally a new golf publication is about to hit the stands. Golf Fitness Magazine is a publication about those who active individuals who desire to live an active and healthy lifestyle. Child Abuse continues to be a problem across the Nation. Today Richstone Family Center is doing something about it. The Richstone Family Center helps to educate, raise awareness and help those kids who may not be able to help themselves. In Palos Verdes and Long Beach California, Richstone held their 21st annual golf tournament. Their goal ,to help every child they can. Child abuse crosses all cultures and studies have shown it can be passed from generation to generation. Kids that are abused today will often abuse their children when they are older. We love this organization and we were proud to be one of their sponsors today at both the Palos Verdes and Long Beach tournaments. Customized golf shafts added to the Sweet Spot Golf Line-up. Sweet Spot Golf has selected Matrix Golf Shafts to fill out the total look and feel of the Think Pink Golf Clubs. Matrix has a well crafted product line now being used on the PGA Tour. Their approach in quality, consistency and great performance is what caught our attention. The Think Pink line-up will include Pink shafts on the soon to be released Think Pink Hybrids and Drivers.

11 women came for the 2 hour class taught by Dr. Christian Reichardt of Golf Health. The course covered information from equipment parts, custom fitting and correct posture as well as training techniques to insure accuracy and consistency. At the end of the two hour event a “beat the Pro” contest was held and the winner received a Think Pink Putter. Another event will be held in two weeks at the El Segundo The Club facility. Sweet Spot Golf and Golf Health are currently working on a “Series” of golf clinics for the Fall.

La Costa once again hosted the Acura Classic Benefit for Breast Cancer. And while this was a Tennis smash, Sweet Spot Golf was there to help where we could. Two Think Pink Putters were donated and auctioned off. !00% of the proceeds were donated to the Scripps Polster Breast Care Center. In all, 6,000 was raised for this great cause. We thank Acura for the opportunity for allowing us to participate and donate towards their cause.

Sweet Spot Golf participated in the Opening of the Fantasy Springs Casino and Resort's VOLLEY-PILLOOZA weekend. This fun-filled event included several activities and contests culminating in a Scramble format golf tournament. The tournament held at Eagle Falls Golf course designed by Clive Clark, was won by the Julie and Shawnie Costello, also known as the Costello Twins. They were using the Sweet Spot Golf Think Pink Putters.
Coverage of this event was featured on ESPN's "Jim Rome is Burning." Also using the Think Pink putter was NFL Wide Receiver for the New England Patriots' Donte Stallworth.

Sweet Spot Golf donated a Think Pink Putter to the John Wayne Cancer Institute. The putter was used at an auction to help raise funds. Since its founding in 1985 , the JWCF has supported awareness programs, education programs and support groups, and is aligned with like-minded groups and non-profits that advance the fight against cancer, such as the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Sweet Spot Golf was a sponsor of Women in Film's 10th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament held at Malibu Country Club. Sweet Spot Golf donated Think Pink Putters and the soon to be released Think Pink Hybrid clubs. Sweet Spot Golf also hosted and let participant utilize a variety of different colored putters for the putting contest held just before the scramble based tournament. A Golf Clinic hosted by LPGA member and teaching Professional Karyn Dunphy utilized the Think Pink Hybrids and the soon to be released Think Pink Driver.
